Lovely pattern with helpful pictures. The work that goes into the face is SO worth it. This is a pretty good-sized plush, even when made with a thin fuzyzy yarn and 3 mm hook! A showstopper.

I love this pattern. I made mine by doubling up on Caron Latte Cakes your and using Heartland for the other details, and he is so cool. I am going to take it with me to my D&D group tonight to show them – last week they requested I crochet an owl bear and all the other patterns out there are a bit small or lack nice detailing. I prefer a more complex amigurumi and this one definitely fit the bill. Next I’ll make one with the Go For Faux yarn, I can’t wait! Pattern is well written and easy to follow with photos and stitch explanations. The feathering is cleverly done to eliminate a lot of sewing on details, which I appreciate.
