Artair the Owlbear

The most feared predator of the wild enters the forest now overtaken by the darkness. Its screech echoes through the darkened valley announcing its presence. Lovely pattern with helpful pictures. The work that goes into the face is SO worth it. This is a pretty good-sized plush, even when made with a thin fuzyzy yarn and 3 mm hook! A showstopper.

This is probably my fave pattern yet. Amazing!! Amazing! & amazing. It is the way it is designed. Lots of photos & each step is meticulously written to guide you. The details are above & beyond. I won’t say it was hard, but a labour of love well worth the time. It is an amazing oattern. Well done Lauren. Now i need more of your patterns!!

I loved the process of making this big guy. The result was so satisfying. Pattern written clearly with excellent photos for clarity. Any questions I had were answered by Lauren quickly so I could have a successful result. I will definitely be making this guy again and in fur.

I love this pattern. I made mine by doubling up on Caron Latte Cakes your and using Heartland for the other details, and he is so cool. I am going to take it with me to my D&D group tonight to show them – last week they requested I crochet an owl bear and all the other patterns out there are a bit small or lack nice detailing. I prefer a more complex amigurumi and this one definitely fit the bill. Next I’ll make one with the Go For Faux yarn, I can’t wait! Pattern is well written and easy to follow with photos and stitch explanations. The feathering is cleverly done to eliminate a lot of sewing on details, which I appreciate.
