Nen-Lome, the hug dragon
$8.00
A shiver rippled down my spine. In the distance, a rumble. Above me, a creature drawing closer. Leaves swirling around my feet. Another rumble.
My heart leapt. I knew of this creature. It was him! The awesome, mighty and powerful dragon and he was heading straight for me!
“Run,” someone said. “Run before it is too late!”
I turned toward the woods. Surely the trees would hide me. But the leaves rained down upon me with every beat of his wings.
“Keep running!” the voice demanded.
I did as commanded until the mountain stood before me. I was trapped.
A crash of lightning. Rain and hail pelting me. A great roar. Then darkness.
I waited, but nothing happened. I reached out. A wall surrounded me. How strange. I felt no fear. I felt safe.
Soon a light pierced my darkness. I peered out. Rocks from the mountain lay scattered on the ground. Trees felled. Leaves gone. Behind me was him.
I turned toward him, awaiting the fatal blow. He just stood there with his wings opened wide. A fierce face, but a kindness in his eyes.
“It was you,” I said. “You sheltered me under your wings. But why?”
“Do not be afraid. I seek and save those who are lost and in need. I defend and fight for those who have come to know me, fear me,
even love me.”
“Who are you?”
“I am Nen-Lome.”

I really enjoyed the results of this pattern. What a perfect companion for a Ren Faire . Directions easy to follow no wire needed. The photos speak for them selves. My sons will both wear this dragon as part of their costume at the local Fair.
